Start with the recommended baseline, change one value at a time, and test each adjustment under consistent conditions.
Understanding Warzone Cronus Zen Weapon Profiles
Many Warzone Cronus Zen scripts include separate Primary, Secondary and Ground Loot profiles. These allow you to configure different settings for the weapons you use throughout a match instead of relying on one universal setup.
Understanding how these profiles work is important when configuring anti-recoil, switching weapons and adjusting your script settings.
This guide explains how to organise your profiles and configure them correctly.
1. What Are Primary, Secondary and Ground Loot Profiles?
Each profile represents a separate configuration within your Cronus Zen script.
- Primary: Your main loadout weapon configuration.
- Secondary: A separate configuration for your secondary loadout weapon.
- Ground Loot: A configuration for weapons picked up before obtaining your preferred loadout or when using temporary weapons.
Keeping these profiles separate allows you to customise each one without constantly changing the settings of your main loadout.
2. Configure Your Primary Profile
Start by opening your script's configuration menu and selecting the Primary weapon profile.
- Select your Primary profile.
- Choose the correct weapon if your script supports weapon selection.
- Check the configured vertical and horizontal recoil values.
- Adjust the supported settings for your weapon and controller configuration.
- Save your changes using the script's documented save command.
When making adjustments, change one value at a time. This makes it easier to identify which setting affects your configuration.
3. Configure Your Secondary Profile
Your Secondary profile should be configured independently from your Primary profile.
Open your weapon editor, select Secondary and configure the settings for your second weapon.
For example, if your Primary and Secondary weapons have different recoil patterns, keeping them in separate profiles allows each weapon to retain its own correction values.
Remember to confirm which profile is active before editing settings. Otherwise, you may accidentally overwrite your Primary configuration.
4. Set Up Your Ground Loot Profile
Ground Loot is particularly useful in Warzone because you may use several temporary weapons before accessing your preferred loadout.
Rather than repeatedly modifying your saved loadout profiles, configure Ground Loot as a separate weapon state.
Begin with the script's original settings. If the script provides a Universal weapon option, you can also use that option when a dedicated weapon configuration is unavailable.
When switching to a different ground-loot weapon, check the active weapon selection and adjust it as necessary.
Remember that ordinary GPC scripts do not visually identify the weapon displayed on your game screen. Your script's configured profile must correspond to the weapon you are using.
5. Automatic vs Manual Profile Switching
Some advanced Warzone scripts provide multiple profile-switching methods.
For example, Eclipse V9 for Warzone provides Automatic and Manual profile-switching options.
- Automatic: Changes profiles according to the script's programmed controller-input conditions.
- Manual: Allows you to control profile selection directly.
Automatic switching does not mean the script can detect which weapon appears on your screen. Always confirm that the active profile matches your loadout.
6. Example: Configuring Profiles in Eclipse V9
Eclipse V9 includes a dedicated weapon editor and separate settings menu.
To access the weapon editor:
- Hold ADS (L2/LT).
- Press Share/View to open the weapon editor.
- Use the displayed D-pad controls to navigate between weapon and profile settings.
- Select the appropriate Primary, Secondary or Ground Loot configuration.
- Adjust your supported weapon settings.
To open the main settings menu, hold ADS and press Options/Menu.
From there, you can access the additional configuration options, including Profile Switch settings.
Press Circle/B from the top-level main menu to save the persistent settings and exit.
For product-specific configuration values, read our Eclipse V9 settings guide.
7. Test Each Profile Separately
Once your profiles have been configured, test them individually in an appropriate private testing environment.
- Activate the Primary profile and verify its selected weapon.
- Switch to Secondary and confirm the correct configuration is active.
- Select Ground Loot and check its assigned settings.
- Test your profile-switching method.
- Save your final configuration.
Changing sensitivity, deadzones, attachments or optics can affect how your configured values behave.
If something feels inconsistent, check your active profile before changing the recoil values.

Common Profile Configuration Mistakes
Some of the most common configuration problems include:
- Editing the wrong weapon profile.
- Using Primary settings while Secondary is active.
- Leaving Ground Loot configured for an unrelated weapon.
- Assuming automatic switching identifies your weapon visually.
- Forgetting to save the configuration.
- Using instructions from a different GPC script.
Different scripts may use completely different menu controls and profile systems. Always follow the instructions for your particular script.
