THE FINALS Cronus Zen Recoil and Weapon Profiles Explained

THE FINALS Cronus Zen scripts can handle recoil and profiles in different ways. Some give you adjustable recoil values and general profiles, while others use game-specific or weapon-detection systems. Here’s how these features work and what to check when configuring them.

THE FINALS Cronus Zen Recoil and Weapon Profiles Explained
Before you begin

Start with the recommended baseline, change one value at a time, and test each adjustment under consistent conditions.

Recoil control is one of the main configurable features found in many THE FINALS Cronus Zen scripts, but not every script handles it in the same way.

Some scripts give you direct vertical and horizontal recoil values. Others use profiles or internal weapon-detection systems to change the amount of correction being applied.

Understanding the difference makes it much easier to configure your script correctly.

What Is Recoil Control in a Cronus Zen Script?

A recoil-control system applies programmed right-stick input while you fire.

The goal is to counter some of the movement produced while firing without requiring you to manually hold exactly the same stick position every time.

Depending on the script, recoil configuration may include:

  • Vertical recoil strength
  • Horizontal recoil strength
  • Left or right recoil direction
  • Adaptive recoil behaviour
  • Weapon or firing profiles
  • Different stored configurations

The exact system depends on how the individual GPC script was programmed.

Vertical Recoil Explained

Vertical recoil controls how much up-or-down stick correction the script applies while firing.

If the value is too weak, you may still notice too much upward movement. If the value is too strong, the correction can become excessive.

This is why recoil values should be adjusted gradually rather than making large changes immediately.

Horizontal Recoil Explained

Some THE FINALS scripts also include horizontal recoil configuration.

This allows the script to apply left or right stick correction in addition to vertical control.

For example, a script may provide:

  • Vertical-only correction
  • Vertical correction with left drift
  • Vertical correction with right drift

Horizontal values generally require more careful tuning because different firing patterns may not consistently move in exactly the same direction.

What Is a Weapon Profile?

A weapon profile is a stored set of script settings intended to make switching between configurations easier.

A profile might contain:

  • Recoil values
  • Aim-related settings
  • Sensitivity adjustments
  • Feature toggles
  • Other script-specific values

However, the word profile does not always mean a named weapon.

Some scripts use named weapon profiles, while others simply provide Profile 1, Profile 2, Profile 3 and so on for the player to configure.

General Profiles vs Weapon Profiles

This is an important distinction when comparing THE FINALS scripts.

Profile Type How It Works
General profile A saved configuration that you can use for any setup you choose.
Named weapon profile A configuration specifically labelled for a particular weapon.
Detected weapon profile The script attempts to select recoil behaviour based on controller or firing-pattern information.
Game profile A broader preset intended to configure the script around a particular game.

Always check what the word “profile” means inside the particular GPC you are using.

How Acid Aim+ V2 Handles Recoil

Acid Aim+ V2 uses a highly adjustable recoil system rather than a menu of named THE FINALS weapons.

Its script includes separate controls for:

  • Recoil Control
  • Recoil Vertical
  • Recoil Horizontal
  • Recoil Pattern
  • Adaptive Recoil

The recoil-pattern setting provides vertical, left-drift and right-drift options.

This means the player has direct control over both the strength and direction of the correction being applied.

Acid Aim+ V2 Profiles

Acid Aim+ V2 also includes four selectable profiles:

  • Profile 1
  • Profile 2
  • Profile 3
  • Profile 4

These are general script profiles rather than named THE FINALS weapon entries.

That gives you flexibility in deciding how to organize them. For example, you could use separate profiles for different loadouts or different recoil configurations depending on how you prefer to set up the script.

The important point is that the script itself does not label those four profiles as specific THE FINALS weapons.

How Revenant Killswitch V2 Handles THE FINALS

Revenant Killswitch V2 takes a different approach.

The script contains a dedicated THE FINALS game profile. Selecting that profile changes a group of underlying game-specific settings used by the script.

It also contains a recoil system that can adjust vertical and horizontal recoil values according to detected firing behaviour.

Firing-Pattern-Based Weapon Detection

Rather than presenting a simple menu containing individual THE FINALS weapon names, Revenant Killswitch V2 uses firing information to place weapon behaviour into different internal groups.

The script can then associate those groups with different vertical and horizontal recoil corrections.

This means its idea of a “weapon profile” is different from a script where you manually select a named gun from an OLED menu.

It is better understood as an internal recoil classification system.

Automatic Detection Is Not Screen Recognition

When a script refers to automatic or detected weapon behaviour, that does not necessarily mean the Cronus Zen can see which weapon is displayed on your screen.

A GPC script primarily works from controller-related inputs and programmed logic. Some scripts can infer different firing behaviour from information such as timing, but that is different from visually identifying a weapon.

For more on this distinction, read our guide to what “AI” claims in Cronus Zen scripts actually mean.

Which Profile System Is Easier?

Neither approach is automatically better.

A manual profile system gives you more direct control over exactly which configuration is active.

An automated or firing-pattern-based system can reduce the amount of manual profile switching, but its behaviour depends on the logic programmed into the script.

Which one fits you better depends on whether you prefer manual customization or more automated configuration.

Why Recoil Values May Feel Different Between Players

A recoil value does not exist in isolation.

Your in-game controller settings can influence how the stick correction produced by the script feels.

Important settings can include:

  • Horizontal sensitivity
  • Vertical sensitivity
  • ADS sensitivity
  • Left and right stick deadzones
  • Response behaviour
  • Other controller settings

This is why copying another player's recoil value does not guarantee identical results.

Recoil Profiles and Sensitivity

If you substantially change your sensitivity after configuring a recoil profile, the same script value may no longer feel identical.

It is generally easier to choose your normal in-game sensitivity first and then configure your recoil values around that setup.

Constantly changing both sensitivity and script recoil strength at the same time makes troubleshooting much harder.

Deadzone Settings Matter Too

Deadzones affect when stick input starts registering.

Because Cronus Zen scripts work with controller inputs, changing your deadzones can also change how a configured script feels.

For a broader explanation, read our guide to how deadzone settings affect Cronus Zen scripts.

How to Test a Recoil Profile

When testing a new configuration, keep the process simple.

  1. Choose your normal THE FINALS controller settings.
  2. Select the correct script or game profile.
  3. Start with the current recoil values.
  4. Test the configuration consistently.
  5. Adjust the vertical value slightly if necessary.
  6. Retest.
  7. Only then adjust horizontal correction if the script provides it.

Changing several settings simultaneously makes it difficult to identify what actually improved the setup.

Don't Assume Every Weapon Needs the Same Value

Different weapon behaviour is one of the main reasons profile systems exist in the first place.

A recoil configuration that works well with one firing pattern may not suit another.

If your script offers multiple profiles, you can use those profiles to keep separate configurations instead of repeatedly changing one set of values.

What If the Recoil Feels Wrong?

Before assuming there is a problem with the script, check:

  • The correct Cronus Zen memory slot is selected.
  • The correct game or recoil profile is active.
  • Recoil Control is actually enabled.
  • Your in-game sensitivity has not changed.
  • Your deadzone settings have not changed.
  • You are testing the same type of firing behaviour.
  • Your previous values were saved correctly if the script supports saved configuration.

If the script itself is not responding correctly, use the CzenScripts troubleshooting wizard.

Which THE FINALS Script Fits Your Profile Preference?

If you prefer direct control over vertical recoil, horizontal recoil and several general configurations, Acid Aim+ V2 provides a more manually adjustable profile system.

If you prefer a script with a dedicated THE FINALS game profile and internal firing-pattern-based recoil logic, Revenant Killswitch V2 takes a different approach.

Final Thoughts

Recoil and weapon-profile systems in THE FINALS Cronus Zen scripts can work very differently depending on the GPC.

Some scripts give you direct recoil values and several general-purpose profiles. Others use game profiles and internal logic to adjust recoil behaviour according to firing information.

The most important thing is understanding what your particular script means by “profile” before changing settings.

Choose your normal in-game controller settings first, test one recoil adjustment at a time and make sure the correct profile is active before deciding whether a value needs to change.
