Overwatch 2 Cronus Zen Scoped Sensitivity: Ashe, Ana and Widowmaker Explained

Ashe, Ana and Widowmaker do not necessarily feel the same while scoped. Here’s how scoped sensitivity can affect an Overwatch 2 Cronus Zen setup.

Before you begin

Start with the recommended baseline, change one value at a time, and test each adjustment under consistent conditions.

Overwatch 2 scoped sensitivity can have a major effect on how a Cronus Zen setup feels with Ashe, Ana and Widowmaker.

All three heroes can aim using a scoped or zoomed view, but that does not mean the same sensitivity value will feel identical between them.

If your aim feels smooth while hip firing but suddenly too fast or too slow when scoped, check the hero's scoped sensitivity before changing unrelated script settings.

What Is Scoped Sensitivity in Overwatch 2?

Overwatch 2 includes a hero-specific setting commonly shown as Relative Aim Sensitivity While Zoomed.

This setting controls how quickly your view moves while using a hero's scoped or zoomed aiming mode relative to your normal sensitivity.

Lower values generally make scoped aiming slower and more precise, while higher values make the scoped view respond more quickly.

Why Scoped Sensitivity Matters With Cronus Zen

A Cronus Zen script works alongside the controller settings already being used by Overwatch 2.

If you significantly change scoped sensitivity, the same stick input can feel different while zoomed.

This can affect how you perceive:

  • Fine aiming corrections
  • Target tracking
  • Small flicks
  • Aim-assist behaviour
  • Hero-specific script profiles

That is why your in-game controller settings should be established before you spend time fine-tuning a script.

Why Ashe Feels Different From Ana and Widowmaker

Ashe's aimed view uses a different level of magnification from the deeper scoped views associated with Ana and Widowmaker.

Because the visual zoom is different, copying the exact same Relative Aim Sensitivity While Zoomed value between the heroes does not necessarily produce the same aiming feel.

Ashe may therefore need her own scoped sensitivity rather than simply copying your Ana or Widowmaker setting.

Ashe Scoped Sensitivity

Ashe frequently switches between hip fire and aimed shots, so the transition between normal sensitivity and scoped sensitivity is especially noticeable.

If Ashe feels too slow when aiming down sights, raising the relative scoped sensitivity slightly may make tracking feel more responsive.

If you repeatedly overshoot small targets, a lower value may give you more precise control.

Make small changes rather than jumping between extreme values.

Ana Scoped Sensitivity

Ana requires a mix of scoped and unscoped aiming.

That makes consistency between the two states important.

If your normal aim feels comfortable but scoped corrections feel difficult, test the scoped sensitivity separately rather than changing your entire base sensitivity.

This allows you to preserve your normal turning and unscoped aim while adjusting only the zoomed view.

Widowmaker Scoped Sensitivity

Widowmaker places even more emphasis on precise scoped aiming.

A setting that is too fast can make small corrections difficult, while an extremely low setting can make it harder to follow moving targets.

For that reason, Widowmaker is a good hero for testing whether your scoped sensitivity actually matches your preferred aiming style.

Should Ana and Widowmaker Use the Same Setting?

They can be a useful starting point for each other because their scoped aiming behaviour is more similar than Ashe's ADS.

However, you are not required to use identical values.

If you play one hero with a different aiming style, you may prefer a slightly different scoped sensitivity.

The goal should be consistent control rather than forcing every hero to use the same number.

Don't Copy Ashe's Value Directly to Widowmaker

This is one of the easiest mistakes to make when building hero-specific settings.

Because Ashe's zoom level feels different, an Ashe scoped sensitivity that feels comfortable may feel significantly different when applied directly to Widowmaker or Ana.

Treat the heroes as separate profiles and test them individually.

Scoped Sensitivity vs Base Sensitivity

Your normal sensitivity and scoped sensitivity perform different jobs.

If your aim feels wrong everywhere, your base sensitivity may be the setting that needs attention.

If normal aiming feels good but the problem appears only when you zoom, adjust the hero's relative scoped sensitivity first.

This prevents you from changing a good overall controller setup just to fix one scoped hero.

Scoped Sensitivity and Aim Smoothing

Scoped sensitivity is not the only setting affecting how controller aim feels.

Aim Smoothing and Aim Ease-In can also change how quickly stick movement translates into camera movement.

If scoped aim feels delayed or unusually accelerated, review those settings before assuming the Cronus Zen script itself is responsible.

Hero Profiles Make These Differences Important

Some Overwatch 2 Cronus Zen scripts use separate hero profiles.

This allows different settings to be used depending on the hero you are playing rather than forcing one universal configuration across the roster.

That can be particularly useful when switching between heroes with very different aiming styles.

How to Test Ashe, Ana and Widowmaker

Use the same testing process for each hero:

  1. Start with your normal base sensitivity.
  2. Select one hero only.
  3. Aim at a fixed target while unscoped.
  4. Repeat the movement while scoped.
  5. Check whether scoped aim feels too fast or too slow.
  6. Adjust Relative Aim Sensitivity While Zoomed slightly.
  7. Retest small corrections and moving targets.
  8. Save the setting before moving to another hero.

Testing heroes separately makes it much easier to identify which setting is actually creating the problem.

Don't Change Several Aim Settings at Once

If you change scoped sensitivity, Aim Smoothing, Aim Ease-In and your script values at the same time, you will have no reliable way to tell which change improved the setup.

Adjust one variable, test it, and then move on.

This is particularly important for precision heroes where very small changes can be noticeable.

What If Your Cronus Zen Aim Feels Too Strong While Scoped?

If script behaviour feels comfortable while unscoped but too aggressive when zoomed, do not immediately reduce every aim-related value.

First check:

  • The hero's scoped sensitivity
  • Your base horizontal and vertical sensitivity
  • Aim Smoothing
  • Aim Ease-In
  • The currently selected script or hero profile

A mismatch between your controller configuration and hero profile can make a perfectly usable script feel wrong.

What If Scoped Aim Feels Too Slow?

If your crosshair struggles to keep up with moving targets while scoped, check whether the relative zoom sensitivity is unusually low for your preferences.

Increase it gradually and retest.

Avoid making a large jump because that can simply replace under-tracking with overshooting.

Keep Hero Settings Consistent When Testing Scripts

Changing your Overwatch 2 sensitivity every time you change scripts makes comparisons difficult.

A better approach is to establish a stable controller setup first and then test different scripts using those same game settings.

If a script specifically requires different configuration, follow the instructions for that script rather than assuming settings transfer automatically.

Final Tip

Do not assume Ashe, Ana and Widowmaker should all use the same scoped sensitivity.

Keep your base controller settings stable, tune each hero's zoomed sensitivity separately, and only then adjust hero-specific Cronus Zen settings. This gives you a much cleaner baseline for precision aiming.
