Modern Warfare 4 Cronus Zen Settings: Complete MW4 Setup Guide

Getting good results from a Modern Warfare 4 Cronus Zen script starts with a consistent setup. Your in-game sensitivity, deadzones, response settings and script values all work together, so changing too many settings at once can make tuning much harder.

This guide covers a simple way to configure your Modern Warfare 4 Cronus Zen settings and test your script properly.

1. Start With Your Normal MW4 Controller Settings

Before adjusting your Cronus Zen script, set Modern Warfare 4 to the controller sensitivity, button layout and aiming settings you would normally use.

Once you start tuning the script, avoid constantly changing your in-game settings at the same time. Keeping your base settings consistent makes it much easier to see which script adjustment is actually making a difference.

2. Check Your Deadzones

Deadzone settings can have a noticeable effect on how aim-related script features feel. Very different deadzone values can change stick responsiveness and how small scripted stick movements behave.

Start with stable deadzones that do not cause unwanted stick drift, then tune your script around those settings.

For a deeper explanation, read our guide to how deadzone settings affect Cronus Zen scripts.

3. Configure Aim Assist Gradually

Many MW4 scripts include adjustable aim-assist values such as radius, speed, boost or shake-style controls.

Instead of immediately using very high values, start around the script's existing configuration and make small changes one setting at a time.

This makes it easier to find a combination that feels responsive without making your aiming feel inconsistent.

4. Tune Anti-Recoil Per Weapon or Profile

Recoil behaviour can vary between weapon types, so one anti-recoil value may not suit every loadout.

If your script includes Primary, Secondary or Ground Loot profiles, use separate recoil configurations where possible. Test one weapon at a time and make small vertical or horizontal adjustments until the compensation better matches that weapon.

If you're unsure about the difference between these features, see our Aim Assist vs Anti-Recoil guide.

5. Use Weapon Profiles When Available

Several scripts in the Modern Warfare 4 Cronus Zen Scripts collection include profile-based configuration.

Profiles are useful because they let you keep different aim and recoil settings for different parts of your loadout instead of forcing every weapon to use the same values.

6. Test One Setting at a Time

The easiest way to tune a Cronus Zen script is to change one value, test it, then decide whether to keep adjusting.

  • Test your normal controller settings first.
  • Adjust aim assist separately.
  • Test anti-recoil with one weapon.
  • Save a stable profile before changing more values.
  • Avoid changing several settings at the same time.

Our guide to testing a new Cronus Zen script covers this process in more detail.

7. Save Your Settings

Once you find values that work well with your sensitivity and controller setup, save them before experimenting further.

This gives you a reliable configuration to return to if later changes make the script feel worse.

Your ideal settings will also depend on the script you're using. Some scripts offer extensive aim customization, while others focus more heavily on recoil or profile control.
